The Rise of "Agrihoods"

From today's Investor's Business Daily, many homebuilders are now developing neighborhoods that incorporate a farm-to-table lifestyle, dubbing them "agrihoods". These are homes which border a working farm and give residents quick access to fresh vegetables, dairy and poultry. Several new agrihoods are thriving: the Sendero development near Los Angeles, Serenbe near Atlanta, Willowsford near Dallas and Prairie Crossing near Chicago. The Foodies have come of age.
