WiFi Ubiquity

From the Wall Street Journal, reporter Ryan Knutson cuts his cell service and accesses only WiFi and WhatsApp for his smartphone for 30 days as a test. He reports that got by just fine. Millions more may do the same in order to eliminate a big monthly bill, their cellular service. Republic Wireless offers a data plan over WiFi only, and a calling/texting service supplemental using Sprint's network.
